Bolangir/Titlagarh/Kantabanji: Taking part in a marathon road show during the party’s Vijay Sankalp rally in various parts of Bolangir Lok Sabha constituency, Union Minister Dharmendra Pradhan came down heavily on the BJD government led by Chief Minister Naveen Patnaik and the Congress party led by AICC president Rahul Gandhi on various issues.
Asserting that people across the state are under the spell of pro-Modi mantra, Pradhan said there is need for a double engine government at the Centre and the state to hasten development.
Appealing to people at the rally at Koshla Kala Mandap, he said the centre has a pro-progress government which can give befitting reply to Pakistan while leaders of ‘Mahamilabati Gathbandhan’ are raising questions on the prime Minister.
He said crores of people in the country have decided to vote the Modi government to power again.
Pradhan alleged that the Naveen Patnaik government is run with the mining scam, chit fund scam and ‘PC culture’ at the block level.
“While a six-year-old girl was raped and murdered, the state government is bragging about women empowerment,” he lamented.
He also accused the state government of buying votes with ill-gotten money from the mining and chit fund scams.
