BHUBANESWAR: On the occasion of Natya Dhara, Odisha Natya Sanga in association with Odisha Sangeet Natak Academy organized a play Chari Godia at Bhanja Kala Mandap here Wednesday.
The play revolves around the value of truth in human life. It’s a fact that people are tied up with each other by various sentiments in this materialistic world. Invariably we compel our own people to reciprocate the same amount love and affection that we show to them. The question raised in the play is that why one should be compelled to retain a particular level of commitment to sustain his relationships. Such an instinct exists in all of us. We motivate our own people to reciprocate with the same level of closeness that we show to them.
Director of the play Debananda Nayak said, “All human beings conceal a beast within themselves. One must suppress that to lead a happy life, failing which he will move towards darkness.”
