Balasore:   A day after Prime Minister Narendra Modi launched a personal attack on BJD supremo Naveen Patnaik and called for his ouster, Odisha Chief Minister Patnaik warned voters to be skeptical of Modi.

Addressing a campaign rally in Jaleswar under Balasore district Wednesday, the Chief Minister claimed that Modi keeps coming back to the state these days with only votes in mind.

“The Prime Minister was nowhere to be seen during difficult times. He had no time then. Now that the elections are underway, he keeps coming back to the State”.

Talking about local development, the BJD boss said that despite Central Government’s meager help of Rs 100 crore and the vehement opposition of an Odia minister in the union government to this project, the State Government has spent Rs 10,000 crore to build Fakir Mohan Medical College and Hospital.

His government had to take permission from the Supreme Court appointed ‘Central Empowered Committee’ for this project, he claimed while urging the voters to choose wisely for their future and development in ensuing polls.
