PM to visit state today, security beefed up

Bhubaneswar: The industrial towns of Jharsuguda and Talcher were placed under a veil of security for Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s one-day visit to lay foundation stones and inaugurate a slew of infrastructure projects Saturday.

The Prime Minister will land here at Biju Patnaik International Airport in the morning and then directly fly by helicopter to Talcher, where he will lay the foundation stone for revival of Talcher Fertiliser Plant and address a public rally.
After completion of the public meeting, Modi will fly to Jharsuguda airport by helicopter to dedicate to the nation the new airport there. He will also inaugurate a new railway line of MCL between Jharsuguda and Sardega in Sundargarh district. The Prime Minister will also unveil two new coal mines in Sundargarh district.
Chief Minister Naveen Patnaik will accompany Modi at all the
