Sajanagarh: Forest ranger Laxman Pradhan and forest officials of Kuldiha sanctuary in Nilagiri conducted a raid at Bhaliaposhi village and arrested two poachers early Friday.
The officials seized deer skin, horns, three gun and bullets from the poachers’ possession.
The arrested were identified as Lebe Murmu and Panda Mandi they hail from Mayurbanj district.
According to reports, since a few days the poachers were living in temporary houses in the region.
Reportedly, the Asssitant Conservator of Forest Officer (ACFO) said probe into the matter is currently underway.
