Bhadrak: Acting on a tip-off, vigilance sleuths Tuesday detained the Inspector-In-Charge (IIC) of Bhandaripokhari Police Station, Amit Kumar Biswal, after recovering unaccounted cash worth Rs 73,500 from his possession in Balasore.
A special team of Vigilance intercepted Biswal near Shergad toll gate while he was going to Baripada. Later, the Vigilance sleuths conducted raids at Biswal’s residences in Bhandaripokhari and Bhanjapur area near Baripada.
