New Delhi: The Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) Friday declared its candidates for five Lok Sabha and 22 Assembly seats for the upcoming elections in Odisha.
The saffron party has fielded Suresh Pujari from Bargarh, Nitesh Ganga Deb from Sambalpur and Basanta Kumar Panda from Kalahandi LS seats.
Likewise, Sambit Patra has been picked for Puri, while Jayaram Pangi will contest from Koraput Lok Sabha seat.
“We have come out with list of 36 new candidates which includes Odisha BJP president Basant Panda, senior leader Suresh Pujari and party spokesperson Sambit Patra. We would like to clear the 1st & 2nd phase candidates as soon as possible and we’re working on it,” Union Minister JP Nadda said.
