Bhubaneswar: Odisha para-shuttler Pramod Bhagat will create history when he will participate in the Para-Asian Games at Jakarta, October 6-13. Pramod, who is one of the members of the 18-strong Indian badminton squad, will feature in singles, doubles and team events. While doing so, he will become the first male Indian shuttler to represent the country in Para-Asian Game for the third time.
Pramod had first featured in the 2010 Para-Asiad at Guangzhou, China before finishing off with a bronze medal in the singles event at the 2014 edition in Incheon, South Korea.

The Inter-School basketball tournament will commence October 3 to 5 at the BJEM School campus, the organisers announced here, Tuesday. The matches will be conducted in four categories – U-17 (boys and girls) and U-19 (boys and girls). Around 1000 students from 60 schools in Odisha, West Bengal and Chhattisgarh will participate in the meet.
