President Kovind arrives in state to attend convocation of Army Air Defence College

Bhubaneswar: President Ram Nath Kovind arrived in Odisha Friday on a two day visit to grace the convocation ceremony of Army Air Defence College.

Odisha Governor Ganeshi Lal, Chief Minister Naveen Patnaik, Union Minister for Petroleum and Natural Gas Dharmendra Pradhan, Micro, Small Medium Enterprise Minister Pratap Sarangi, Odisha Chief Secretary Asit Tripathy and Director General of Police BK Sharma received the President at the Biju Patnaik International Airport.

Soon after his arrival by a special Air Force aircraft, the President left for the Army Air Defence College at Golabandh in Ganjam district by an Air Force helicopter.

As per his tour schedule, the President will stay at Golabandh tonight and leave for Delhi tomorrow via Bhubaneswar. He will grace the convocation of the Army Air Defence College.

An elaborate security arrangement has been made for his visit who is accompanied by his wife Sabita Kovind.
