Hindi film superstar Priyanka Chopra tied the knot with American pop sensation Nick Jonas in a stunningly beautiful ceremony in Rajasthan, India.
Their wedding was conducted in both Hindu and Christian traditions.
With Priyanka’s foray into Hollywood and American entertainment, she seems to have fit into the Jonas family quite seamlessly. But is Nick as comfortable with Indian culture?
Well, in a recent interview, Priyanka revealed that her hubby is indeed a fan of India’s rich heritage and even loves Hindi film songs. According to PeeCee, Nick is a ‘complete Punjabi’ and loves grooving to Hindi cinema tunes before going on stage. He routinely listens to Hindi music on radio and calls it his ‘hype music’. Even his dressing room often blares songs from Hindi films.
Once Nick was asked what was his favourite song from B-Town, to which, he replied: ‘Desi Girl’. Well, obviously.
He went further and said that ‘Bum Diggy Diggy’ from ‘Sonu Ke Titu Ki Sweety’ was also one of his favourite.
Priyanka revealed that Nick fell in love with India right when he visited the country for the first time.
Recently, a video shared by Danielle Jonas, Nick’s sister-in-law, went viral on social media. The clip featured Nick and Priyanka dancing to a Hindi song.
On the work front, Priyanka will next be seen alongside Farhan Akhtar and Zaira Wasin in Shonali Bose’s ‘The Sky Is Pink’.
The film is slated for an October 11 release.
