BHUBANESWAR: The team representing KIIT School of Law in the 4th N R Madhava Menon SAARC LAW Moot Competition has qualified to the international rounds. The college will represent the nation at the international stage for the first time in their history.
The competition was held at Lloyd Law College, Delhi from October 26 to 28, 2018. This fourth edition of the prestigious competition which is held in the name of the living legend of law N R Madhava Menon received applications from a huge number of candidates. It has two rounds namely qualifier national rounds and SAARC rounds.
The event consists of a large number of opportunities which includes a scholarship award for Pennsylvania State Law College for final year achievers with highest merit. Over the course of the event, 55 teams had participated and competed against each other for securing top positions.
The KIIT contingent consisted Sindhuja Nayak, Subham Bhut, Pritha Adhikarya and Arkaprabhu Roy. Overall, the entire KLS team performed exceptionally well in their respective capacities. From preparing memorials to arguing their cases before esteemed Judges, the students punched above their weight in the competition. The team showed a undying spirit and collective coherence to be victorious in the competition.
