Cuttack, Jan 30: Abhishek Sharma (5/78) returned with a fiver as Punjab defeated Madhya Pradesh easily by a huge margin of 190 runs in the final of the All India U-16 Vijay Merchant Trophy cricket tournament at the Ravenshaw Ground Friday. Resuming their innings at 282/9 in the morning, Punjab added 12 more runs to their second innings total of 294. When MP came into bat in their second innings, a win was out of question from the very first ball. Moreover, complementing their batters, Punjab bowlers struck regularly to bundle out MP for 283runs.
