Devotees could enter the Srimandir from all four gates prior to the outbreak of Covid-19. During the pandemic, devotees were allowed to enter the 12th-century shrine only through one gate i.e. Singha Dwara (East Gate). The restriction persisted even after the pandemic. Consequently, long queues of devotees were witnessed.
The district administration has not taken any decision regarding the opening of the remaining two gates.
