Malkangiri: In what may come as a good news for movie buffs, the shooting of Puspa-II is all set to start within two months at Palluru near Andhra-Odisha border under Kalimela block in Malkangiri district.
Director Sukumar along with Camera Head Kuba from Germany has reached Malkangiri district. A 20-member team has visited Palluru and Manyamkonda area.
Director Sukumar said that Allu Arjun along with other artists of the film will start shooting after reaching Malkangiri within two months. The shooting of the film will be done with the help of local people and the police administration, Sukumar said.
On the other hand, the much talked about movie Puspa was not only adored in southern India but also loved all over India. The proposed sequel’s approximate budget will be around Rs 500 crore.
South superstar Allu Arjun will lead as the protagonist and Rasmika will be the female lead. Sai Pallabi, Sunil, Anasuya, Sahad Asim, Jagdish Prasad, and Ajay Ghosh among others will be seen in the film as different characters. Producers are hopeful that Puspa-II will be as successful as Puspa-I and will perform well at the box office.
Last month a team had come to Malkangiri and sought permission from the Collector and Superintendent of Police for shooting. A schedule will also be there for shooting near Swabhiman Anchal, said Sukumar.
Some police action-related scenes will be there in this shoot. After visiting different places around Palluru from May 9-20, shooting will start in June or July, said Sukumar.
