Rahul Gandhi’s plane develops engine snags, meeting at Balasore delayed

New Delhi: Congress president Rahul Gandhi’s meeting Friday in Balasore will certainly be delayed as the private aircraft he was travelling in developed engine snag in the morning while it was en route to Patna. Rahul himself tweeted the news of the delay after his plane was forced to return to Delhi. The Congress president is scheduled to address gatherings in Samastipur (Bihar), Sangamner (Maharashtra) and Balasore.

“Engine trouble on our flight to Patna today! We’ve been forced to return to Delhi. Today’s meetings in Samastipur (Bihar), Balasore (Orissa) & Sangamner (Maharashta) will run late. Apologies for the inconvenience,” Rahul tweeted.

The Congress president has been criss-crossing the country for the last month campaigning for his party for the Lok Sabha elections.
