Rail minister Ashwini Vaishnaw’s state visit starts today

Bhubaneswar: Union Minister of Railways Ashwini Vaishnaw in his visit to state Friday will have multiple programmes including inaugurating the Visakhapatnam-Koraput-Visakhapatnam Daily Passenger Special, en-route inspection of proposed alignment between Jeypore and Malkangiri, inaugurating the post office building and dedicate upgraded Anla Sub-Post Office at Malkangiri Mukhya Dak Ghar.

This apart he will also join a Conduct Review Meeting related to developmental works with MPs, MLAs, Public Representatives, district officials and Central government officials at DRDA Conference Hall, Malkanagiri.

The inaugural run of the Visakhapatnam-Koraput-Visakhapatnam Daily Passenger Special Train from Koraput will be flagged off at 1600hrs (04.00pm) April 22. However on the regular run, this train will leave from Visakhapatnam at 0630hrs (06.30am) wef April 23 and from Koraput, will leave at 0810hrs (08.10am) wef April 24.
