Rajvardhan Hangargekar, Sai Sudharsan shine as India A thrash Pakistan A in Emerging Teams Asia Cup clash

Colombo: India A display a spectacular show with both bat and ball as the boys in blue beats arch-rivals Pakistan A in the ACC Emerging Teams Asia Cup 2023 clash here Wednesday.

The Pakistan A side, who opted to bat first after winning the toss had a difficult time on the pitch, On the contrary the Indian bowling unit demolished the Pakistani batting lineup by not allowing them to even play 50 overs of their innings.

Batting first, Pakistan A batters only managed to score 205 for 10 in 48 overs. Qasim Akram (48) and Shahibzada Farhan (35) were the top scorers for Pakistan A.

India A’s Rajvardhan Hangargekar was the leading wicket-taker for the side as the pacer took 5/42 in his 8 overs. Manav Suthar complimented his compatriot Hangargekar, as he took 3/36 in his 10 overs.

The India A top order too played their part in an easy run chase of 210 for 2 in just 36.4 overs. Opener Sai Sudharsan played an outstanding unbeaten knock 102*(110). Nikin Jose scored 53 (64).
