Rani Mukherjee’s love life before her marriage with Aditya Chopra

Rani Mukherjee is now happily married to director/producer Aditya Chopra. The couple was recently blessed with a baby girl.

The couple had been dating for years, though they never came out in public to acknowledge their relationship. But this wasn’t the only relationship Rani was serious about. Let’s take a look at Rani’s affairs in the past

Rani Mukerji with Aamir Khan
The duo looked good on-screen, when they paired for Ghulam (1998) for the first time. The audience loved their intense chemistry in the film but little did we know that it would affect their personal life. It was during this time that Aamir Khan’s first marriage with his first wife Reena was going through a rough time and came into limelight.

Alot was speculated about Rani and Aamir Khan’s love interest since then but they never made it public and always maintained friendly relations.

Rani Mukerji with Govinda
This affair came in the scene after the two actors worked in Hadh Kar Di Aapne in 2000. Married Govinda was rumoured to be in love with Rani and apparently the entire film fraternity was aware of their secret affair.

The duo always denied their relationship but according to the reports, it did last for a quite a while.

Rani Mukerji with Abhishek Bachchan
Now this involved public spotting of the couple and Rani visiting the Bachchan house often. After Abhishek & Rani did two successful films together, Yuva (2004) & Bunty Aur Babli (2005), the duo became up, close and personal.

Their fans thought that the history would repeat in the Bachchan clan with Rani becoming the short bahu for the tall Jr. Bachchan just like Jaya for Big B. But yet again, Abhishek moved on to choose to Aishwarya Bachchan and Rani was left heartbroken.

But, Rani Mukerji, after crossing hurdles and convincing the Chopra family got married to Aditya Chopra. This is Aditya Chopra’s second marriage. He was earlier married to school time sweetheart Payal Khanna and later divorced her in 2009.
