Bhadrak: Teachers and students of Ranital high school mourned the death of five Class-IX students Friday, who were killed in a road accident when a speeding truck ran over them.
The school bore a deserted look as only 10 to 12 students out of 160 students of Class-IX and Class-X attended their classes Friday.
Those who attended the school were yet to overcome out of the trauma.
Reena Jena, Monalisha Nayak and Sabita Sahoo found it hard to believe that their friends will no longer come to school again. “We still cannot believe that our friends were killed in the accident. We all left for our house Thursday afternoon. After reaching home we received the news that they were no more” they said.
