Mumbai: Internet sensation Ranu Mondal whose career took a sharp turn with the help of Himesh Reshammiya, is believed to have received several offers. According to online reports, Ranu has received a lucrative offer from the Bhojpuri Film Industry. Actor Pradeep Pandey ‘Chintu’ said during an interview that he wants to record a song with Ranu for his film.
During an interview with journalists, Pradeep announced that he wants Ranu to sing for his film. The Bhojpuri star also stated that after he heard Ranu chant old Hindi numbers, he became a fan of her voice. The speed in which she is cementing her place in the hearts of people is amazing.
“Not only me, but the entire Bhojpuri industry would like to welcome Ranu ji wholeheartedly…I want her to sing for my film, this is my heartfelt desire,” Pandey said.
Ranu used to manage two-square-meal a day by singing at the Ranaghat railway station in West Bengal and for the record, she didn’t even have a place to stay.
Her fate changed completely when a young man named Atindra Chakraborty made a video of her singing and shared it on social media.
In that video, she was heard singing Lata Mangeshkar’s song ‘Ek Pyar Ka Nagma Hai’. Her magical voice was liked by people so much that she became a star overnight.
After the video went viral, singer-actor Himesh Reshammiya offered her a song in his upcoming romantic comedy ‘Happy Hardy and Heer’. Ranu has finished recording the song. The video of her recording has also been shared by Himesh Reshammiya himself on his social media account.
It is worth mentioning, Ranu came as a guest on Sony TV’s singing reality show ‘Superstar Singer‘, where she described her ordeal and how she sang on railway platforms to eke out a living for herself.
