Mumbai: Internet singing sensation Ranu Mondal had to face the wrath of fans and social media users when she attended an event and chose to give herself a makeover by ditching her usual traditional saree and opting for a gorgeous lehenga.
But her overdone make-up photos started a meme-train on social media with trolls having a field day poking fun at the singing sensation. The make-up controversy spread like wild-fire on the internet.
Meanwhile, Ranu’s make-up artist came out in open and termed those pictures making rounds on the internet as fake and shared the original picture along with a makeover video on social media.
Recently, in an interview, makeup artist Sandhya opened up saying that a person’s life can get spoiled by one photo and whoever had shared that picture on social media had done a very wrong thing. Furthermore, she even added that people attain fame by working hard but one such instance can ruin their life.
Ranu Mondal, who went viral on the internet with a video of her crooning Lata Mangeshkar’s soulful number ‘Ek Pyaar Ka Nagma Hai’ at Ranaghat railway platform earlier this year has come a long way in her career and has given her soulful voice to many tracks in Himesh Reshammiya’s upcoming film ‘Happy Hardy and Heer’.
