Bhubaneswar: In a weird incident, an UK based company has apparently listed the names of the family members of Hindi film industry’s two top stars — Shah Rukh Khan and Salman Khan.
A report in national portal said the family members of the Khans were shown as directors of a fictitious company in England — Bros Brother International Ltd — which was founded December 28, 2016.
The company has 13 directors which included Shah Rukh Khan, Salman’s father Salim Khan, his brothers Sohail Khan and Arbaaz Khan alongside Bhaijaan’s Being Human foundation. The addressed that was registered was a mailbox in London’s Knightsbridge.
According to the report, the residence of King Khan was shown as his official residence Mannat in Mumbai suburb Bandra. Salim Khan’s address was also shown as his official address of Galaxy Apartment, also in Bandra.
Another director by the name Anjali Sharma created more confusion as her address of the mail box service provider was in London. Co-incidentally, Anjali Sharma was a character in Karan Johar’s blockbuster Kuch Kuch Hota Hai, whose cast also included the two Khans, Kajol and Rani Mukherjee.
“It is someone’s deranged idea of a joke. Registering all Indian actors as directors of this almost fictional company,” Paul Myers, lead support of the BBC Investigation Initiative, said.
The actor and their managers, on the other hand, denied any knowledge regarding the matter. “We are not even aware of this. Salman Khan and his family have nothing to do with Bros Brothers International,” Jordy Patel, Salman’s business manager said.
