Bhubaneswar: Popular smartphone brand Realme unveiled its latest models Realme 5 and 5 pro for Odisha market at a city hotel, Friday. Both models are priced between Rs 9,000 to Rs 17,000.
Realme sales and distribution head Nisar Naikoo, regional sales manager Rakesh Behera, state head Odisha Niskalanka Mohanty and Odisha distributor Sumit Agarwal were present at the launch ceremony.
Realme’s new models are mid-range handsets aimed at capturing more of the smartphone market share from the likes of Xiaomi, Redmi, Samsung and others.
The Realme 5 Pro is powered by the Qualcomm Snapdragon 712 SoC and sports a 6.3-inch Full HD+ display. It’s rear camera is equipped with a quad camera setup consisting of an 8MP ultra-wide angle lens. There’s also a 48MP primary camera along with a 2MP portrait lens with f/2.4 lens and a 2MP camera with f/2.4 macro lens. Its front camera is a 16MP with an f/2.0 aperture.
The device comes in a sparkling blue and crystal green colour options. The Realme 5 Pro comes with up to 8GB RAM and up to 128GB of internal storage. The model is backed by a 4035mAh battery.
Meanwhile, the Realme 5 comes with a 6.5-inch display and is powered by the Snapdragon 665 SoC. It features the same quad camera setup as the Realme 5 Pro, except the 48MP sensor is swapped out for a 12MP main sensor. It also features a 5000mAh battery. The model is also comes with up to 8GB RAM and up to 128GB of internal storage.
