The ‘Sultan’ or ‘Bhaijaan’ as he is popularly called by his fans, Salman Khan is the most eligible bachelor in the Hindi film industry. He is a superstar as fans love and adore him unconditionally. Such is the craze for Salman that even if he makes a cameo appearance, the movie turns into a blockbuster.
However, it is his personal life and marriage that is more talked about. While Salman has been linked with many actresses, he takes a step back when it comes to marriage.
It has been alleged that Salman was all set to tie the knot with Sangeeta Bijlani, but that did not materialise. Since then Salman has allegedly dated many other actresses like Aishwarya Rai, Katrina Kaif and Jacqueline Fernandes. But the affairs have fizzled out.
Sources, however, have said that Salman’s love for his family has come in his way of getting married.
“Salman Bhai can do anything for his family. His love is selfless. At times he was close to getting married, but stepped back because family has always been his first priority. He knows that he won’t be able to give 100 per cent to his life partner so he has refrained from marrying,” a close friend of the actor has been quoted as saying.
“Family is the most important for Salman. In 2000, he was about to marry actress Katrina Kaif. But again for the same reason, he did not tie the nuptial knot,” he added.
Reports however say that his family wants Salman to get married. However, Salman does not even think of loving anyone else other than his family.
On work front, the actor is busy shooting Ali Abbas Zafar’s ‘Bharat’ opposite Katrina Kaif.
