This phone features a 64-megapixel primary sensor as its USP. That said, it also has some other highlights, including a gradient back panel and up to 128GB of onboard storage among others.

The successor of Redmi Note 7 Pro, the Note 8 Pro houses a quad rear camera setup. This new phone by Xiaomi is also powered by the octa-core MediaTek Helio G90T processor. This phone utilises the dual wake functionality of the Helio G90T SoC to wake up the screen with either of the digital assistants. It sports a 4,500mAh battery that supports 18W fast charging support.

This phone runs MIUI 10 based on Android Pie and is scheduled to receive just launched MIUI 11 in December.

Design wise, this phone comes with the waterdrop-style display notch and that is protected with Corning Gorilla Glass 5 on both front and back. It also features liquid cooling technology to reduce heat while playing graphic-intensive games. It sports a 6.53-inch full-HD+ (1080×2340 pixels) screen with 19.5:9 aspect ratio. The phone measures 161.7×76.4×8.81mm and weighs 200 grams.

MI is offering the phone in a multitude of colours such as Gamma Green, Halo White, and Shadow Black.

Coming to the online sales partner, Redmi has chosen Amazon over Flipkart this time. Redmi Note 8 Pro will go on sale Monday noon October 21 on amazon.in, mi.com, and mi home stores. The offline sales will follow, the Xiaomi said.

Redmi Note 8 Pro includes double data offer on Airtel with Rs 249 and Rs 349 recharges for 10 months to make the purchase even more attractive for customers.
