Bhubaneswar: Online registration for admissions into MBBS and BDS courses will begin in the state June 20.
Students allotted rank in the National Eligibility-cum-Entrance Test (NEET) have been asked to register between June 20 and 25, said Manish Tripathy, chairman of Odisha Joint Entrance Examination (OJEE).
The list of the registered students will be announced June 26 while verification of documents will be conducted at the nodal centres from 10 am to 5 pm, between June 26 and 29. The state merit list will be announced June 30.
The results for the first round will be published July 4 and the students will be asked to download the provisional allotment letter from the OJEE official website, www.ojee.nic.in, on the same day.
The first round for provisional admission will be held from 10 am to 5 pm, between July 5 and 9, at the OJEE Cell in Gandamunda here in the city, after which the students will join their respective institutes by July 12.
The OJEE will publish the number of vacant seats including quota seats July 24. The students can go for choice filling and choice locking July 24 and 25.
The second round for allotment and downloading of provisional allotment-cum- admission letter will be held July 26 while the provisional admission is scheduled between July 27 and 30.
The students will have to join their institutes by August 12.
Tripathy said after the second round of counselling if there is any vacancy, spot counselling may be done and admission would be held between August 4 and 8.
The academic session 2018-19 would start from August 1, he added.
The result of Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) NEET 2018 examination was declared on June 4.
