RIDING CYCLE UNDER STARS FOR 180-KM

Bhubaneswar: Bhubaneswar Cycling and Adventure Club (BCAC) Sunday conducted its third season of a whole night ride under the stars for cycling enthusiasts of Odisha.

More than 70 cyclists from different parts of the state joined the event to cover 180-km stretch of the Golden Triangle. The strong headwind on the way to Puri with nocturnal silence on the Puri-Konark Marine Drive was a spine-chilling adventure for the cyclists.

Dressed in neon-green jerseys and reflective straps with lights on the front and tail-end of the two-wheelers, the cyclists offered a spectacular show while passing through the busy roads. The riders reached Bhubaneswar at 9am.

BCAC president Sanjeeb Panda said the club tried to offer a different experience through night cycling. “We have suggested ways for safe riding and have ensured that the ride was smooth”.

Sanjay Jindal, a cyclist from Paradeep said, the trip was meticulously planned and praised the organisers for successfully conducting the trip.
