Bhubaneswar: Robbers riding two-wheelers looted gold chains from two women in Bhubaneswar in the last two days, a source said Sunday.
According to the source, CCTV cameras located in the areas recorded videos of both incidents.
Two motorcycle-borne miscreants snatched a woman’s gold chain when she was taking a walk on the road near Vani Vihar, the source said.
In a similar yet unrelated incident that took place in the Laxmi Sagar area, miscreants on a two-wheeler robbed a woman’s gold chain.
In the CCTV clip, the woman is seen chasing the miscreants to reclaim her chain, but the miscreants flee on their two-wheeler.
Upon lodging two consecutive FIRs, the Commissionerate Police launched an inquiry into the occurrences using CCTV evidence.
