Manchester: Indian opener Rohit Sharma scored a blazing 140 off just 113 balls in their World Cup 2019 encounter at Old Trafford Sunday. While India posted a mammoth 336/5, Pakistan could only muster 212/6 in 40 overs, before rain intervened to hand India the win via DLS method.
At the post-match press conference, Man of the Match Rohit Sharma was asked by a Pakistani reporter as to what advice he would give as a colleague to the Pakistan batsmen, which according to the former was undergoing a period of crisis which is being reflected in the results.

Pakistani Journalist – Do you have any suggestions for pakistani batsmen to improve thier batting?
Rohit – "Agar mai Pakistaan ka coach bana to bataunga, abhi kya batau ? "
Loved that part 😂😂😍

Rohit smiled and quipped that he would be able to advise only after he was made the Pakistan team coach.
“Agar main Pakistan ka coach bana to main bataunga, abhi kya bataunga!(If I become the coach of Pakistan then surely I will tell you. What can I say now!),” replied Rohit prompting the whole room to burst into laughter.
“It’s just the space I’m in right now; having a newly born daughter in my life has put me in a really good space. I am enjoying my cricket coming off from a great IPL campaign. Here we were focussed on starting well and I think as a team we are heading in the right direction,” said Rohit.
India will now face Afghanistan in their next fixture of World Cup 2019 June 22 in Southampton.
