Amlan and Riya starrer Oriya film College Time has experienced an encouraging opening in the first week after its release January 23, 2015. Although the film failed to do good business in some pockets, it received banging appreciation from the audience in some other towns. The Sudhanshu Mohan flick is all about college days and romance.
The presence of star son Amlan and the gorgeous Riya adds to the glam quotient of College Time. Packed with all elements of entertainment like dance, melodious songs, action as well as drama sequences, the film is great entertainment. Besides, colourful happenings of college days is always the pet subject of romantic directors. Perhaps all these features have added to the success of the film which is expected to do good business in the coming days.
The lead pair apart, the film stars veteran Mihir Das and stars like Deepa Sahu, Abhilash, Ankita, and Biswajit along with three divas from Tollywood – Anusree Ghosh, Rinky Pool and Aisha Khan. Uttam Kumar Panigrahi has produced the film under Gayatri Entertainment Pvt. Ltd. Banner. Prasanta Padhy has composed the songs penned by Arun Mantri, Saranarabinda Ojha and Nimai Mohanty. The tracks of the film have been sung by Pamela Jain, Ira Mohanty and Bollywood singers, Udit Narayan, Binod Rathore and Javed Ali. Dances of the film have been choreographed by Asim while Raj Sekhar has handled the action sequences. Sanjeeb Mohapatra is the director of photography. The film has, expectedly lured, in the first week, college-goers who thronged the theatres in hundreds.
