Rs 2.5k reward for info on missing children

Bhubaneswar: Commissionerate Police (CP) has announced cash reward of Rs 2,500 for anyone who would provide information on the two children who went missing from Chirgottola Basti under Infocity police limits June 16.
Commissioner YB Khurania, while declaring the reward Saturday, also informed that an investigative team under the supervision of Anup Sahoo, Deputy Commissioner, is looking into the case. Earlier, a city-based activist Friday had lodged a complaint with Odisha Human Rights Commission (OHRC) seeking expeditious action in the case by the CP.
The missing children have been identified as Raja Soren (10), son of Muna Soren, and Devjani Hembrum (6), daughter of Budhia Hembrum.
Sources said that the duo went missing while playing outside in the slum near KIIT stadium June 16.Their parents filed complaints with the Infocity police June 17. However, police have not made any headway in the case yet. A team of Infocity police who had been to Mayurbhanj recently in search of the missing duo has also returned empty-handed.
