Bhubaneswar, Jan 31: SAI Hostel, Cuttack entered the semifinals of the Jadupur Cup football tournament, edging past Mangala Club, Cuttack 6-5 via penalty shoot-out here Saturday. Anil Jena of SAI Hostel was adjudged as the man of the match for the excellent skills he demonstrated during the game.
It was an exciting encounter, but neither of the sides could utilise the chances that came their way. The match thus ended goalless in regulation time and the game petered into the tie-breaker in which SAI footballers held their nerves to prevail by a slender margin.
