Bhubaneswar: SAI International School secured first rank for 2023-24 in a national survey of day-cum-boarding schools conducted by Education World in collaboration with Centre for Forecasting and Research, New Delhi.
The City-based SAI International School secured first rank jointly with Emerald Heights International School of Indore, while ODM Public school got the 10th position in the same category.
In the national government day-schools category, Odisha Adarsh Vidyalaya (OAV), Budhapal, in Deogarh secured the eighth rank while Odisha Adarsh Vidyalaya Sangathan in Baripada got 9th rank.
Similarly, in the co-ed boarding schools category, SAI International Residential School in Cuttack secured the 10th rank nationwide. And in the philanthropy school category, Kalinga Institute of Social Sciences (KISS) here got the 6th rank.
The 17th annual Education World India School Rankings (EWISR) 2023-24 survey was released in Bengaluru, Tuesday. The survey rates and ranks the country’s Top 4,000 schools in four main and 23 sub-categories, namely ‘Day: Co-ed, boys and girls, Day-cum-boarding; Boarding: co-ed, Girls and Boys; International: Day, Day-cum-boarding and fully Residential. It also rates and ranks the best government day and boarding schools, as well as special needs and philanthropy schools.
“The EWISR 2023-24 is outcome of an elaborate field survey. Over a period of four months, 127 field researchers conducted interviews in 34 cities across the country. They persuaded fees paying parents, teachers, principals, educationists and senior school students to rate the schools they were aware of on a 100-point scale under 14 parameters of education excellence,” said Premchand Palety, promoter-cum-CEO of Centre for Forecasting and Research.
