SAIL seal Gold Cup hockey title

Rourkela, Jan 22:   SAIL Hockey Academy emerged champions in the recently concluded Narayan Singh Memorial All India Gold Cup Hockey Tournament edging past Signal Corpus of Jalndhar 2-1 in the final at Balghat of Madhya Pradesh.

Anand Lakra of the team was adjudged as the best player of the tournament. SAIL received the champion’s trophy along with a cash prize of Rs 50,000. As many as 18 teams participated in the fray.
