Bhubaneswar: The Odisha government has waived entertainment tax on the Odia movie ‘Delivery Boy’ which creates awareness on road safety, the chief minister’s office (CMO) said.
Chief Minister Naveen Patnaik has approved a proposal in this regard, a CMO statement said here.
The movie, directed by Ashwini Tripathy, depicts the struggles of a delivery boy after he meets a road accident during his work. He along with his friends undertakes a long battle to get justice.
Produced by Jyotiranjan Mohanty, the film features prominent artists like Buddhaditya Mohanty, Sailendra Samantaray, Sushant Dasmahapatra, Priyambada and Suryamayi.
Earlier, the state government had waived entertainment tax on Odia movie DAMaN and Hindi film Zwigato.
