Mumbai: Reacting on the allegations of Dabangg director Abhinav Kashyap, Salman Khan’s father Salim Khan slammed the filmmaker for blaming his family for sabotaging his career.
“Yes, we are the ones to ruin everything, right? You watch his films first and then we’ll talk. He used my name in his statement right? Maybe he didn’t know my father’s name. His name was Rashid Khan. Let him use my grandfather and great grandfather’s names too). Let him do what he wants, but we will not waste time in reacting to what he says,” Salim Khan said.
Abhinav has been slamming Salman Khan and his family on social media for sabotaging his career. The impact of what he said on his social media hit the headline after he blamed Salman and his family for the suicide of actor Sushant Singh Rajput.
Later, Arbaaz Khan said that he has taken legal action against the director. Abhinav alleges that during the movie Dabangg the entire Khan family misbehaved with him. Even the ‘Dabangg’ franchise was taken away from him. When Dabangg 2 was made, there was no conversation with him at all.
Abhinav had appealed to the government to launch a detailed investigation into the demise of actor Sushant Singh Rajput and shared a Facebook post about his own experience of bullying.
“My experience is no different. I have experienced exploitation and bullying first hand,” he had written.
Reacting to the allegations, earlier Abhinav’s brother Anurag Kashyap had posted on Twitter to be not disturbed by the media. He claimed that Abhinav had asked him to stay away from his personal matters.
Sushant Singh Rajput’s death has once again brought to limelight the topic of nepotism. Many social media users targeted Salman Khan, Karan Johar and Alia Bhatt for supporting nepotism and not giving enough credit to outsiders.
Recently, a case was filed against Salman Khan, Karan Johar and many other actors in Bihar, home state of Sushant Singh Rajput. Fans are angered and are targeting the stars for bitching against Sushant and not accepting him in the film industry.
