Bolangir: The death of Selfie Bebo fame, Sambalpuri album actress Simran Singh has been taking new twists and turns every passing hour.
In a new development to the case, cops have detained Simran’s beau Yug Sena at Belpada police station for interrogation into the matter. While Simran’s parents have earlier claimed that Yuga was in a relationship with their daughter and the both were married, some locals suggest that they were only in a live-in relationship.
However, the cops remained tight-lipped about the confession of Yug.
This morning, a voice message of Simran also came to the fore in which she is heard crying and addressing how she has completely broken down. She had sent the voice message to Yug on Whatsapp before she was found dead.
“You should have asked me once to leave everything and come home with you and I would have done it for you. I wish you had tried to put in some effort in the relationship, but you didn’t,” Simran says in the voice message.
The person who she is addressing the message to is yet to be ascertained. However, it is being speculated that the message is for Yug, whose name she mentions twice in the audio.
On the other hand, Yug is heard saying ‘Why don’t you die’ in the voice clip. While Simran’s family members are claiming that the 20-year-old actress was killed in a pre-planned manner, her voice messages suggest that she was depressed over dispute with Yug and might have committed suicide.
Simran’s body with multiple injury marks was found under Mahanadi bridge near Goira Matha Thursday morning. Simran, who has featured in several Sambalpuri albums, was in a relationship with a Bolangir youth named Yug and had allegedly married him in the recent past.
Meanwhile, Simran’s family members have alleged that Yug has murdered their daughter. Police is yet to reach to a conclusion and said that a probe was on and nothing could be ascertained till the arrival of post-mortem report.
