The terror attacks in Pulwama that killed 40 CRPF jawans February 14 sent shockwaves across the country. And Bollywood celebrities were also taken aback by the gruesome incident.
Many celebrities took to social media to condemn the terror attack and pay respect to the CRPF martyrs and their bereaved families.
Speaking to an entertainment website, Sara Ali Khan said that the incident is heartbreaking. “What happened in Pulwama is absolutely heartbreaking. My heart goes out for the brave jawans of our country. Praying for the families of the martyrs,” Sara said.
Janhvi Kapoor also expressed grief. She wrote, “Praying for the families of the brave martyrs that lost their lives in the #Pulwamaterror attacks. An inhuman act of cowardice, brutality and injustice.”
Shah Rukh Khan and Aamir Khan too took to social media to criticize the attack. Shah Rukh tweeted, “Heartfelt condolences to the families of our valiant jawans. May the souls of our countrymen who laid their lives down for us rest in peace.”
Likewise, Aamir Khan tweeted, “I am heartbroken to read about the terrorist attack on our CRPF Jawans in Pulwama. It’s so tragic. My heartfelt condolences to the families of the Jawans who have lost their lives.”
