Scary Delhi Fort: People who enter after sunset never return

The country’s capital Delhi is considered as the busiest place in India. It has very rich history as well as the dark side. It has any number of mysterious monuments too.

There is a deserted place in the Ridge area of Jhandevwala, where a shabby fort is known as Bhuli Bhatiyari Ka Mahal where people are prohibited from entering into it after sunset.

It is said that whosoever comes here in the night, never returns. This fort was built in 14th century by Firoz Shah Tughlaq.

At one time this palace used to have a huge gate, which has now been transformed into debris. There is a large courtyard in this palace and rooms are all around the courtyard.

Some historians believe that the name of this palace was Bhori.  Many people also believe that a tribal girl of Rajasthan had forgotten her path and reached this place, hence the name of this place was Bhuli Bhatiyari.

It is also said that one day the king left his queen in the fort in fit of anger. Later she died wandering in the jungle. After the death of the queen, her body was not found. The queen’s spirit still wanders in this jungle and she is still pained to take her revenge.
