Cuttack, June 2: Sriram Chandra Bhanja Medical College and Hospital (SCBMCH) has constituted an 11-member health team to meet any eventuality during Chief Justice of India (CJI) Dipak Misra’s four-day stay here.
The CJI and his spouse are scheduled to stay in their Kanikabazar residence here from Saturday.
Sources said senior doctors from cardiology, radiology, anesthesia, orthopaedic, medicine, surgery, neurology and neurosurgery departments have been included in the team.
The hospital authorities have also stored a few blood units of required groups to deal with any emergency situation.
“We have taken steps to keep life-support system ready, ambulances and essential drugs for the CJI’s stay in the city,” said SCBMCH emergency officer Bhubananand Maharana.
