Bhubaneswar: Odisha government will soon come up with a standard operating procedure (SOP) for reopening of school hostels in the state, School and Mass Education Minister Samir Ranjan Dash Sunday said.
According to Dash, schools which have hostels facilities for students will reopen soon. “Not only the schools coming under the School and Mass Education Department, but also the hostels of Tribal Welfare Residential (TRW) schools will also reopen in the state,” Dash added.
“The hostel facilities in the schools for Class-X and Class-XII students will reopen in the state. The State government has already taken a decision and soon a detailed SOP will be issued.”
Notably, the state government Saturday announced reopening of schools for Class X and XII students from January 8.
