Bhubaneswar: Union railway minister Piyush Goyal and petroleum minister Dharmendra Pradhan Tuesday flagged off the Bhubaneswar-Nayagarh Sewa Express through video conferencing.
This new train is one among 10 trains under Indian Railways’ ‘Sewa services’ initiative for better connectivity between smaller towns and important cities.
According to East coast railway (ECoR), this new train will leave Bhubaneswar at 6:40pm and will reach at Nayagarh at 8:45pm. On its return journey, it will leave Nayagarh at 6:30 am and will reach Bhubaneswar at 9:00am.
ECoR has revised the schedule of other passenger trains between Khurda Road and Nayagarh Town in view of the introduction of this new train.
According to a notification issued by ECoR, 58431 Khurda Road-Nayagarh Town Passenger will leave Khurda Road at 08:20am instead of earlier timings at 07:15am and will reach at Nayagarh Town at 09:45 am instead of earlier timings at 08:55am.
On the return direction, 58432 Nayagarh Town-Khurda Road passenger will leave at Nayagarh at 10.00am instead of earlier timings at 09:20am and will reach Khurda Road at 11:45 am instead of earlier timing at 11:05am.
Further, 58429 Khurda Road-Nayagarh Town Passenger will leave Khurda Road at 08:15pm instead of earlier timings at 07:30 pm and will reach Nayagarh at 09:40pm instead of earlier timings at 09:10pm. On the return journey, the schedule of 58430 Nayagarh Town-Khurda Road passenger remains unchanged. This train will leave Nayagarh at 05:00 am and will reach at Khurda Road at 06:45am.
