Shraddha Kapoor quits Saina Nehwal’s biopic

Mumbai: The Villain fame actress Shraddha Kapoor was going through rigorous training for the biopic of Saina Nehwal for the past several days.

But, if latest reports are to be believed, now the film does not have Shraddha Kapoor. She has decided to leave the film due to dates issues. Now, Parineeti Chopra has stepped into the shoes of Shraddha for the biopic, it was learnt.

The Amol Gupte directorial went on floors in September 2018 but soon the shooting was halted after Shraddha was diagnosed with dengue. She was supposed to resume shoot in April but due to pack schedule, Shraddha and makers have mutually decided to part their ways.

According to media reports, Shraddha Kapoor has been training for more than one and a half years for the film.

It is worth mentioning that the film is based on badminton player Saina Nehwal’s life. In this movie, Shraddha Kapoor would appear in the role of Saina Nehwal but now it will not be so.

Now Parineeti Chopra has been finalized. Parineeti is currently busy with the promotion of the film ‘Kesari’ with Akshay Kumar.

Let me tell you, Actress Shraddha Kapoor became Bollywood’s favourite after ‘Aashiqui 2’. Shraddha has appeared in films like ‘Aashiqui 2’, ‘Ek Villain’ and ‘ABCD 2’. She played the lead role in the film ‘Haseena Parker’ released in 2017. The film ‘Hasina Parker’ was also a biopic. She was last seen in Batti Gul Meter Chalu.

Talking of upcoming films, Shraddha will be seen in the upcoming movie ‘ Chhichhore and Street Dancer. The actress is also busy with her action-thriller Saaho, starring Prabhas. The movie is slated for August release and then, she will start shooting for Baaghi 3 opposite Tiger Shroff.
