Silly mistakes that change the taste of your food kept in fridge

There is nothing like a fresh, home-cooked, nutritious meal for dinner. Unless, of course, if you can make this wholesome platter last for next day’s lunch as well. Leftovers do have a bad name.

You might have been alerted or warned to not eat leftover food because it can cause nasty food poisoning symptoms.

People complain that as soon as they keep food in the fridge, its taste gets spoiled. Many times we unknowingly make such a mistake while keeping the goods in the fridge, due to which we do not understand why food’s taste changed.

We are here to tell you what mistakes you are making while keeping food in the fridge.

Keeping food without cover– The biggest reason for the taste problem is that it is kept uncovered. This method is wrong and should not be done at all. In this case two things happen. First, a layer is formed on the top of the food which is hard and it is formed due to the excessive cooling. Secondly, the taste of the food gets spoiled due to prolonged exposure to such a low temperature.

Filling fridge too much– It has been seen in most of the houses that their fridge is full. Doing so is the biggest mistake.

Keeping things in a wet vessel– Be it the greens of winter time or the normal vegetable of summer time. If you keep such things in the fridge which are wet i.e. water droplets are present in it, then it will spoil its taste and will also dissolve them quickly. Similarly, if you keep a wet vessel in the fridge, then the things kept around it will also be affected.
