Sleeping position reveals relationship status

The way one walks, talks and other body languages show one’s personality. Similarly sleeping positions with partner also says a lot about love life.

For example, if your back faces the bed, it means you are the strong, silent type; and if you sleep on your stomach, it typically means you have an open, gregarious, and playful personality.

Popular couple sleeping positions and their meaning:

Spoon position

It is traditional position which means presence of protectiveness and comfort in the relationship and trust. This is the position adopted by only 18 percent of the couple.

Loose Spoon

It means they have been together since. This position is the natural evolution of a couple who started their relationship in a tight Spoon, but now recognizes quality sleep (and some space) is important.

Chasing position

In this position one person drifted to the other side of the bed, and the other one is “chasing” them. This simply means that one partner wants more space in the bed. The other less literal interpretation is that the partner doing the drifting wants to be pursued.

Head on chest

If one partner places his or her head on the other partner’s chest, it indicates self-assurance. It also shows that you both care for each other and is common in new relationships.

Back kissers position

Yet this position is more common amongst newer couples, or those that have been together for under a year, rather than a more long-term duo. It means both are relaxed and comfortable with each another.
