Special examination for exempted Ph.D. students

Special examination for exempted Ph.D. students

Bhubaneswar: A special examination will be held for the students who were not allowed to appear in the course work exam after enrolling in various Ph.D. programs at Utkal University, the authorities said.

A notification will soon be released regarding special examination for the students.

According to an announcement made by the authorities of the premier educational institution, all the professors of the concerned departments have been assigned to take classes of the students who were exempted from the examination.

This decision was announced by the vice-chancellor (VC) after the examination controller requested for a special examination for the exempted students. Following the approval of VC, the exempted students will now get another chance to appear in the examination at Utkal University.

Notably, the students need to submit a NOC before the university authorities for appearing in the examination.

If they fail to submit the required document, they will be declared as ineligible for the test and have to wait for another year for continuing their Ph.D. programs.
