Bhubaneswar: Following BJD’s unforeseen defeat in Odisha Assembly elections, former Chief Minister Biju Patnaik’s grandson and Naveen Patnaik’s nephew Arun Patnaik has come to Bhubaneswar, a source said Saturday.
Arun’s sudden arrival in Bhubaneswar has created a buzz in political circles. There are speculations over whether Arun will lead BJD as Naveen’s successor or he will return to Delhi after consoling Naveen.
According to the source, Prem Patnaik’s son Arun arrived in Bhubaneswar Friday along with VK Pandian. BJD organisational secretary Pranab Prakash Das welcomed both at Naveen Niwas.
