‘Spider-man: Far From Home’ teaser baffles Marvel fans

Bhubaneswar: After a pessimistic narrative showcased at the teaser of Avengers: End Game, Marvel Cinematic Universe (MCU) has baffled city fans with the teaser trailer of its latest comic adaptation Spiderman: Far from Home.

The teaser of Avengers: Endgame, which was released a month ago, had depicted a grim picture for all the superheroes as they found it difficult to revive after facing the full force of a determined and powerful Thanos in Infinity War. Multiple members of Avengers, including Peter Parker (Spider-man) had perished during the finger-snapping holocaust ushered by Thanos.

Tom Holland is back as Peter Parker/Spiderman

However, trailer of the second installment of new Spiderman series depicts Peter Parker played by Tom Holland alive and even planning a European trip his friends. Provided that Avengers: End Game is scheduled to be released before Far From Home, city fans are utterly confused as to whether Peter would come back to life in Avengers: End game.
Anisha Raut, a college student and diehard MCU fan, said, “The trailer comes at a time when we are awaiting the first Captain Marvel movie and the fourth Avengers movie. At a time when we were wondering about the future of characters that had died during the end of Infinity War, MCU decides to baffle us all by depicting Peter Parker alive and well in the latest Spider-man movie. We know that these characters will definitely come back as Marvel Studios has planned multiple movies

with them.”

Jake Gyllenhaal as Mysterio

Abhishek Das, another city fan, said, “The latest trailer depicts Peter Parker enjoying as if nothing big has happened makes me wonder that this movie might have happened way before the Infinity war incident. It is great to see finally see Nick Fury who had also turned into ashes in Infinity War. There are a lot of villains that would be pitched against Spider-man like Sandman, Molten Man, Hydro-Man and Mysterio. However, I feel the character of Mysterio played by Jack Gyllenhaal actually helps Spider-man in the

movie.”

Sanjay Nayak, owner of a gaming parlour, said, “Listening to the theme song of Spider-man in the background of the teaser was a flashback moment for me as I used to watch Spider-man a lot during my childhood. The orchestral version of the classic song remade with a modern touch portrays quite a slick version of Spidey’s theme.”
The original theme was created by Paul Francis Webster and Robert Harris, and since then, the original series has become a staple for Spider-Man projects. Till now, the song has appeared in multiple ways in just about every Spider-man movie. From Raimi’s Spider-Man trilogy (characters singing in the film and Spider-Man 3’s celebration) to Amazing Spider-Man 2 (a ringtone) and Spider-Man: Homecoming (Marvel Studios intro), it’s been featured in some wayor the other. It was also recently featured in Spider-Man: Into the Spider-Verse.

The trailer has garnered 30,054,119 views and the movie will be released July 5, 2019 after the release of Captain Marvel and Avengers End game. It remains to be seen whether the movie clears the air related to future of the perished characters or confuses fans even further.
