SRK saves Aishwarya’s manager from fire at Amitabh Bachchan’s Diwali bash

Hindi cinema legend Amitabh Bachchan played host to a star-studded Diwali party at his residence recently. The Bachchans, who often throw parties during Diwali, hosted for the first time in two years as several film celebrities graced Jalsa which was bedecked with sparkling lights and lanterns.

However, the party saw an unfortunate incident raising a lot of alarms.

Actress and Amitabh’s daughter-in-law Aishwarya Rai’s manager Archana Sadanand was rescued from sustaining serious injuries after her lehenga caught fire after coming in contact with a diya. And Sadanand’s hero was none other than B-Town’s biggest star, Shah Rukh Khan.

Shah Rukh’s superb presence of mind allowed him to notice the incident as he quickly proceeded to put out the fire using his own jacket.

Sadanand suffered 15 per cent burn injuries on her hands and right leg while Shah Rukh managed to escape with some minor burns. Aishwarya’s longtime manager is being treated for her injuries and has been kept in isolation in the ICU to avoid any infections.

The accident occurred at 3AM in the morning when very few guests were around in the party. Sadanand was hanging out with her daughter in the courtyard when her lehenga caught fire.
