Staff Selection Commission (SSC) has begun the registrations for SSC GD Constable 2024 recruitment. Through this drive, SSC aims to fill up as many as 26,146 posts.
Interested candidates fulfilling all the eligibility criteria can apply for the positions on the official website at ssc.nic.in
The process of submission of online application has begun and the last date is December 31, 2023 (11pm).
Candidates are required to pay the application fee before January 1, 2024 (11pm).
The window for application form correction and online payment of correction charges will remain open from January 4, 2024 to January 6, 2024 (11pm).
The examination is scheduled to take place between February to March of 2024. However, the exact date has not been announced yet.

Through this recruitment drive, the commission aims to fill up the posts of Constable (General Duty) in the Border Security Force (BSF), Central Industrial Security Force (CISF), Central Reserve Police Force (CRPF), Indo-Tibetan Border Police (ITBP), Sashastra Seema Bal (SSB), Secretariat Security Force (SSF), Rifleman (General Duty) in Assam Rifles and Sepoy in National Investigation Agency (NIA).
Educational qualification:
To become eligible for the advertised posts, the candidates must have passed Matriculation or Class-X examination from a recognised board/ university.
Age limit
The age limit of the candidates should be between the ages of 18 to 24 years, i.e., he/she should not have been born between January 2, 2001 and January 1, 2006.

Applicants from the general category are required to submit an application fee of Rs 100. Female candidates and those from Scheduled Castes (SC), Scheduled Tribes (ST), and Ex-servicemen (ESM) are not obligated to pay any fees.
